History
Quinta da Amoreira da Torre’s vineyard belongs to Montemor-o-Novo’s council, in Évora. It’s a new vineyard, built from scratch in 2001, although there are records of wine production at Quinta da Amoreira from 100 years ago, interrupted in the beginning of the 30’s of the XX century.
The totality of the vineyard is, nowadays, converted to Biological Agriculture, being the harvest of 2005, the first certified in Biological Production Method, by the SATIVA (PT-BIO- 03) — Sistema de Controlo CE.

Mediterranean earth-coloured, granitic derivates.

Vinification
Fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature. After maceration, the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously with the native yeasts.

pH: 3.89
This wine does not utilize any animal products in its crafting and it is certified as vegan by the Vegan Society.
