Casa da Gazalha Grande Escolha 2016 White Verde
Wine made with 100% trajadura grapes coming from a very particular part of one of the vineyard parcels of the farm.
The extraordinary terrain where these vines grow, coupled with a very regular maturation year, made it possible to make a choice of the highest quality grapes, which matured on September 10, already in the second edition, this "Grande Escolha" becomes a wine of reference of this farm and that we consider of very high quality.
The grapes after being lightly pressed gave a must that had been fermented for 35 days in a stainless steel vat at a very low temperature (15ºC), after fermenting all the sugar, the wine was in contact with the fine lees of yeast and kept in batonage for one month.
