CONCEPT
Right in the centre of the Algarve, the João Clara project continues its dream with a new creation. A real Syrah from the Algarve. With all its caractheristics, fresh and mature.
VINIFICATION
Hand selected and hand picked in the vineyard. Quinta João Clara’s grapes are vinified with a 5 days cold maceration followed by a 20 days cuvaison.
AGEING
Syrah João Clara 2014 aged for 14 months in new french oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES
This wine was elected by Joana Clara, daughter of João, her first creation. This wine shows a very concentrated violet colour, in the aroma notes of black fruit jams, with a black pepper touch, well integrated with creamy notes of the barrel. In the mouth is intense, with round tannins and good elegance.
STORAGE AND SERVICE
Store at 12ºC. Serve at 16-18ºC
