Background
Small production from a single vineyard, this variety is more strongly associated with the north of Portugal but performs excellently at our higher altitudes. The name in english means «Red Dog» referring to it’s vigous growth habit.

Hand-picked fruit naturally fermented in small tanks followed by a long maceration. Aged in new oak barrels for 30 months.
