Piorro Reserva 2010 Red
The circle symbolizes the surrounding and elegant structure of this wine.
Objective
The idea was to create a wine with a well defined structure and very velvety tannins. A wine that is wraparound and long, combining concentration and freshness with great harmony. A wine for wine lovers looking for something with more structure, a fine wine, but without too much complexity.
Grape varieties
A traditional selection of the Douro region, followed by a careful selection of the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca varieties of the new and old vineyards of our farms.
Enology
After manual harvesting of the bunches in individual boxes of 25 kg, the grapes were stalked and gently crushed, following the must for stainless steel vats where it was fermented at the controlled temperature (26 ° C - 28 ° C). There followed a 6-month stage in half barrels of French and American oak.
