Reserva 2008 Red
Concept
Wine produced from the traditional Douro grapes – Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Tinta Barroca-and old vines (30 to 40% of the lot), which reflect the character of the sub-region of the lower Corgo, lowland, with consistent quality from year to year. Wine with aging capacity, to accompany cooking sophisticated dishes.
Technology
The grapes, at the ideal moment of ripeness, were harvested manually Destemmed and fermented, with prolonged fermentation in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine was matured in French oak for 15 months. After bottling the wine aged in the bottle for several months before leaving for the market. 10000 bottles were produced.
Description
Beautiful Ruby color alive, has an intense aroma, combining fresh fruit with ripe notes. Shows subtle notes of vanilla, coconut and chocolate, bare wooden stage, that confer complexity. In the mouth, feel the body well balanced by acidity and alcohol, being a suitable companion to spicy red meat dishes.
