Viticulture
Organic production with a single plot managemement winegrowing work.
Soil
Lime and clay from the superior jurassic period. Twenty hectares with different expositions and slopes.
Climate
Mediterranean microclimate with an Atlantic influence. Cold nights even during summer, max. temperatures of 31ºC, 675 mm average rainfall and a permanent blowing wind.
Vinification
Rosé produced from a specific plot aimed at this purpose. Handmade harvest, with manual sorting. Desteming with no crushing. Fermentation in stainless steel temperature controlled vats. Stage for 5 months in stainless steel vats.
Tasting Notes
It is all Syrah, unoaked and dry. Solidly built but very graceful, this finishes with a little distinction, the Syrah adding a bit of beef to a bright, fresh feel. It is pretty delicious. Mark Squires, The Wine Advocate
