This wine expresses in its essence the freshness, minerality and acidity characteristic of the wines of this region, as well as the potential for complexity and aging conferred by fermentation and aging in French oak barrels.
Vineyard
Selection of the best Arinto and Fernão Pires grapes from 'Vinha da Gafa', next to the Sanguinhal, a vineyard with southeast exposure and claylimestone soil.
Climate
Atlantic, influenced by the mesoclimate of the Serra do Montejunto.
Vinification
Manual Harvest for boxes of 10kg, with total destemming, using only grape must drops, fermentation in new French oak barrels at 16°-18ºC for 15 days, followed by 9 months stage.

9 months in Barrels with long battonage, 7 months in the bottle
