Reserva 2012 Red
Wine History:
Origin of grapes:
From integrated production system, this wine has its origin in the best grapes of the traditional varieties of the region: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Sousão.
Vinification and aging:
The grapes were harvested by hand, at their ideal maturation point, leading to higher aromatic and polyphenolic concentrations.
The wine was made in stainless steel vats, allowing the quality of constituents present in the skins of very ripe grapes, passed gently into the wine with light pumping over and prolonged maceration.
After malolactic fermentation the wine matured in French oak barrels, of 2 and 3 years, for 12 months.
Bottling:
In August 2015, 9,150 bottles of 750ml.
