Terra D'Alter Síria 2015 White
Síria is one of Portugal’s oldest indigenous grape cultivars. Síria grapes are handpicked from old growth vines growing on Alto Alentejo’s limestone/clay soil. The grapes are gently crushed and must-chilled before being slowly drained in press. The cold juice settles for 48 hours before fermenting in stainless steel at 12°C for 50 days on yeast lees until bottling. The resulting wine has a full, ripe palate with fresh acidic minerality.
