Located in Nelas, Viseu, Quinta da Teixuga is a 30 hectare property. Located in the heart of Dão, the region is sheltered by the mountains of Caramulo, Montemuro, Buçaco and Estrela, thereby creating excelent geographical conditions for wine making, producing full-bodied wines with great aging capacity.
Vinification
Manual harvest in boxes of 15kg. Grapes destemmed directly pressed in a pneumatic press and cold static decanting. Alcoholic fermentation in french oak barrels. Stage for 9 months with “bâtonagge”.
