Vineyard
Located in Nelas, Viseu, Quinta da Teixuga is a 30 hectare property. Located in the heart of Dão, the region is sheltered by the mountains of Caramulo, Montemuro, Buçaco and Estrela, thereby creating excelent geographical conditions for wine making, producing full-bodied wines with great aging capacity.
Vinification
Manual harvest in 15 kg boxes.
Destemmed grapes followed by crushing. Fermentation in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature to about 25º C and with gentle maceration throughout the process. Stage in stainless steel vats. Bottling in June 2015.
