The Vine and the Sea
Vicentino's castes are blessfuly located over the Alentejo coast, thriving on the Portuguese sun and the Atlantic breeze.
Soil and Castes
Planted in schist-clay and loamy-sandy soils, with low productive potential, Vicentino's castes bear its best traits.
Vinification and Stage
Batch produced when recieving the grapes at the cellar, 40% fermented in used French oak barrels, 10% in new 500 litres barrels, and 50% in stainless steel vats. Followed by a 6 months staging in stainless steel vats, over lees.
Tasting Notes
From a project that engages ambitious combinations, emerge a Rosé that also encapsulates in itself an interesting combination. In its light-pink colour we can foresee the elegance that its felt on the mouth, where an extraordinary acidity meets a round texture, provided by the used barrels were it was partially fermented. By combining the Aragonez's red fruits notes with the floral touch of the touriga Nacional, it displays softness and persistence that are the reflection of the unique climate conditions in which the grapes ripended.
