1836 Grande Reserva Colheita 2014 (Magnum) Tinto

Wine History:
This wine was based on the well-deserved tribute to all the men and women who made the Company Lezírias a reference in the forest landscape and national agricultural because its name refers to the year of foundation.
The minimum required was for excellence.
After almost 180 years since the Dona Maria II Queen ceded territories of the Crown, Queen's House and House of the Infantado, for sale at auction of at the time, more than 40 thousand hectares.
Since then several generations of men and women have made a difference, raising a reference company, innovative and through history leaving an indelible mark on the region and the country.
The Grand Reserve 1836 made with the old vines (not irrigated) from Alicante Bouschet, the oldest of our vineyard, the characteristics that best symbolize the dimensions of long and difficult circumstances and that indelible mark that his taste provides.

Vinification and aging:
Selective manual harvest and transport in 20kg boxes.
Fermentation with and foot trodden followed by 14 months in new French oak barrels.
